As the winner of the general category of the Social Innnovation Tournament (organized by the European Investment Bank Institute) in 2019 the HeHop team has now been a three-year member of the #SITAlumni network, a vibrant community of impact entrepreneurs coming from all over Europe.

Every year at the SIT Alumni annual meeting we get the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, share our social and entrepreneurial experiences, while reinvigorating our desire to make the world a fairer, more sustainable and more inclusive place. Vienna was no exception. Watch the video

Social entrepreneurship is not a straight path, there are lots of bumps on the way and there are times when we feel that challenges keep coming one after the other.

With the succession of shocks we have been experiencing for the last two years (COVID crisis, unbalanced recovery that created social tensions, inflation, soaring energy prices, blistering heatwaves and never seen before droughts in summer 2022 not to even mention the war in Ukraine with its own chain of disasters…) the regeneration workshop (by Kim van Niekerk) and the nature (re) connection (by Julie Shadeck) were both a rejuvenating experience.
